Thank you for understanding. It is refreshing to deal with someone who understands that.

[Syzoth smiled pleasantly and gave his order. A green tea, naturally.]

Yes, though not as much as I would like, though I am always open to suggestions.

I shall have to look into it. I'm afraid I'm not familiar at all with Cardassian culture...though the same can be said for many throughout the Realms. There are really so many different kinds of people out there living different kinds of lives. I certainly don't envy the gods trying to keep up with it all. They have their work cut out for them. I am glad that there is literature out there that enables me to see things from points of view I am unfamiliar with.

[He gestured around.]

Zaterrans don't have anything like this. Most of my people keep to themselves on the outskirts of Outworld....living a simple life as their ancestors did. Many look down on them for that...consider them "lesser" by whatever lens they choose to look through. That we're little more than primitive savages. Naturally, I disagree.

I'm glad I've been a pleasant visitor. Although...

[He paused as their tea arrived and he thanked the server. He poured himself a cup of his green tea and held it in his hands, enjoying its warmth and he made a pleased trill in the back of his throat.]

I'm not exactly a glowing example of a Zaterran....not typically, anyway. Thankfully, though, due to my...gift...I have been able to visit many cafes.

[One of the benefits of shifting into a human form and learning the ways of other races.]
